Check out the 2009 Volvo S60 which is scheduled to make a debut at the 2009 Detroit Auto Show. The Volvo S60 features a small 4-cylinder engine which gives you a 179 horsepower, 47 miles to the gallon while keeping emissions to a scant 120 g/km, LED head and tail lamps, a gear shifter that changes from automatic to manual by turning it a 90º.
The S60 also features the Volvo’s Collision Warning Auto Brake system which was developed to reduce pedestrian accidents. If the car detects someone walking in front of it then all 4 brakes activate, there is also the Auto Cruise Control technology which can almost drive the car on its own. The Auto Cruise calculates the distance and speed of the car in front and will come to a complete stop if the car in front stops. More photos after the break
