3UK, a carrier in the UK just announced that they will be offering the new budget-friendly HTC Desire C to their customers. The new budget-friendly device comes with entry-level specifications which make the device ideal for the budget-conscious customers who wants a device just to do basic functions such as making calls, sending text messages and social media interactions.
The handset is powered by an entry-level 600MHz processor, it has 512MB of RAM, there’s 4GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot that will support 32GB cards as well. The HTC Desire C is equipped with a 3.5-inch touchscreen display with 320×480 resolution, it has a rear-facing 5-Megapixel camera and runs the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with HTC Sense 4 user interface.
Other specifications of the Desire C includes WiFi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity, there’s a few sensors including a proximity sensor, ambient light sensor and G-sensor, there’s a microUSB port for charging the device and Beats Audio integration.
HTC also announced that they will be releasing an NFC version of the Desire C in the near future. 3UK will be offering the Desire C to their customers for £13 a month with no upfront cost on the Ultimate Internet 100 plan.
