Acer has unveiled two new 3D-capable monitors, the 27-inch HN274H and 23.6-inch HS244HQ. Both monitors features touch-sensitive controls, full HD 3D visuals via HDMI or DVI-DL to PCs plus other gaming consoles and compatible devices. Viewing required the use of a pair of active shutter 3D glasses and it is shipped with a pair from NVIDIA. The both feature a tear dropped power key, two 2W speakers built-in as well and an adjustable stand that is VESA-compliant which means they can both be mounted to a wall.
Spec-wise, the 27-inch HN274H supports both HDMI 3D and NVIDIA 3D Vision solutions that makes it the first in its class to offer these functions, it also offers a 120Hz refresh rate, 1920x1080p HD resolution, 100,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 300cd/m2 brightness, and 2ms response time while the 23.6-inch HS244HQ offers a 12,000,000:1 contrast ratio, brightness of 300 cd/m2 and a 2ms response. Both devices also comes with built-in IR emitter and has input options including VGA, HDMI with HDCP support and DVI (HN274H). The Acer 27-inch HN274H and 23.6-inch HS244HQ 3D Monitors are presently on the market and are set to go at a suggest market price of $689 and $449, respectively.
