Its only a few weeks before Microsoft’s new Windows platform is available for sale and manufacturers are reminding us everyday by revealing their products that will be running the Windows 8 operating system. Acer just unveiled its new All-In-One touchscreen system that will run Microsoft’s Windows 8 OS as well as how much it will take from our wallets.
They officially unveiled the Aspire 5600U and 7600U, that were initially announced at Computex 2012. The new systems will start shipping on October 26th, the same day that Windows 8 launches. The Acer Aspire 5600U will feature a 23-inch touchscreen display, powered by Intel’s Core i5 3110M processor with a 1TB hard drive for the price of $999.
The Aspire 7600U on the other hand gets a larger 27-inch touchscreen display, a choice of up to Intel’s Core i5 3210M processor, a NVIDIA GT640M graphics cards and 2GB of RAM for the price of $1,900. Both systems have been specifically designed to support Windows 8 touch gesture and come with stands that allow the screen to be laid flat on a desktop if desired.
