Acer Japan has announced the coming of another compact desktop computer known as the Acer ER1401-N12B from its eMachine range of devices.
This new compact desktop or nettop as we used to call them comes with a 1.30GHz AMD Athlon II Neo K325 processor, it gets a nVidia GeForce 9200 chipset to handle all the graphics needs, a 250GB hard drive for the storage and 2GB of RAM.
There’s also a memory card slot for additional storage if it is ever required, connectivity options such as an HDMI output, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, four USB 2.0 ports and a Gigabit Ethernet port for wired connection to the internet or your home network.
The device is compact enough to fit in a bagpack, it measures 210mm x 39.5mm x 210mm and weighs only 0.83kg. The new Acer eMachine ER1401-N12B is now available in Japan and goes for the price of 39,800 Yen which is approximately $470.
