Acer announces the launch of it s Iconia Tab A700 tablet that runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS on the U.S. market. It is an 10.1-inch tablet that comes with a Full HD 1920×1200 touchscreen display, it offers sharper images and greater details which makes it ideal for entertainment.
The tablet is powered by NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 Super 4-PLUS-1 Quad-Core processor with a fifth Battery Saver Core and 12-Core GeForce NVIDIA GPU. The device comes with 32GB of internal storage and has 1GB of RAM. The Tab A700 also sports a 5-Megapixel main camera has autofocus with HD video recording, it has a front-facing 1-Megapixel camera for video chat plus the tablet also supports Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, WiFi connectivity and a microSD card slot that supports cards up to 64GB.
The Iconia Tab A700 also comes with enhanced with Dolby Mobile 3 with 5.1-channel home theater surround sound capabilities, it has an HDMI output port for streaming HD content to a bigger screen, it runs the Android 4.0 with Acer Ring user interface. It has a built-in battery that allows up to 10.5 hours of video playback and will be available in the colors of black (A700-10k32u) and silver (A700-10s32u) at $449.99 per unit.
