Ainol, a chinese manufacturer just unveiled another tablet that utilizes all the goodness of the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, it is called the Ainol Novo 7 Aurora II. The tablet is expected to be released sometime this month and will cost approximately $190 to own, which makes it a contender amongst the affordable Ice Cream Sandwich tablets presently available on the market.
The Ainol Novo 7 Aurora II gets a 7-inch IPS 5-point capacitive touchscreen display with a 1024×600 resolution, it’s powered by a 1.5GHz Amologic ARM Cortex-A9 dual-core processor which is accompanied by 1GB of RAM and up to 8GB of internal storage. Other hardware specifications includes a 2-megapixel camera on the front, there’s a G-sensor, WiFi 802.11n connectivity and a microSD memory card slot for expansion on its internal storage capacity.
There’s also word that the company plans to launch an even more affordable tablet named the Novo 7 Elf II tablet that comes with a 7-inch IPS display and will retail at $149. No specific date of availability has been revealed…
