Alcatel has unveiled its latest Android smartphone at the Mobile World Congress 2013 in Barcelona, Spain. The company has taken the wraps off its newest smartphone dubbed the One Touch Snap, it comes equipped with a 4.5-inch qHD touchscreen display, powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and runs Google’s latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
The One Touch Snap comes with 4GB of internal storage plus it also supports memory cards using its microSD card slot. It features an 8-megapixel main camera on the rear plus a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling.
It offers support for quadband GSM (850/900/1800/1900) networks, plus connectivity options including Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n. According to the company’s announcement at the MWC 2013, the new One Touch Snap Smartphone will go on sale in April, but no pricing details has been unveiled for the new handset.
