Amazon has announced that it is now rolling out an update for its Cloud Drive Service, and according to the company this update will enable the ability to now sync files across multiple devices, so users can always have the latest and most unto date file available.
The new update will give the file storage service the ability to be more competitive with other services such as Dropbox and other cloud storage services that allows the users to sync files in real-time. Amazon explains : “Put your important files in Cloud Drive and access them from any of your computers, the Kindle Fire, or online. Get started using your 5 GB of free storage by installing Cloud Drive for Windows and Mac.”
Amazon launched their Cloud Drive service back in May of 2012 for both Mac and Windows platforms, however the service debuted without the file syncing feature which didn’t give the service and competitive edge to alternative services with file syncing.
