By now everyone has probably heard that Amazon has a new tablet device that will be the successor of the Kindle but according to a few reports, the new Amazon Kindle looks really similar to the BlackBerry PlayBook. According to MG Siegler over at TechCrunch, the tablet resembles the BlackBerry Playbook but it runs on a heavily skinned version of Android but lacks a built-in camera. He also went on to say that it will be known as the Kindle Fire as soon as it hits shelves, which is scheduled to be sometime in November 2011 and it is expected to get a proper introduction today in New York.
There isn’t much specifications details available for the new Amazon Kindle Fire Tablet but reportedly it will come with an 7-inch touchscreen display, there are no deals on the speed of the processor but MG Siegler also stated that it is expected to go for a price of $249. We just have to wait until later today to see if the ‘Fire’ will get its proper introduction today by Amazon.
