According to report by BGR, Apple is expected to release an iOS 8 update next week. The blog reported the news and even cited their sources, they were unable to confirm if the release would be the beta version or a public release, but the update could arrive as early Tuesday or Wednesday.
There’s no word on what new features will come with the update, it’s believed that it will be a minor update similar to iOS 8.1.2, and will focus mostly on bug fixes and improvements. The next major update could be iOS 8.2, which was seeded to developers in November.
While BGR is not confirmed about the update, the folks at MacRumors have spotted an in increase in the number of visits from Apple networks with devices running on iOS 8.1.3. Surprisingly, the number of visits rose significantly in the past week hinting at iOS 8.1.3 to be the update.
