Apple Launches $999 iMac for Educational Users

$999 iMac for Educational UsersApple has announced that they will be launching a new lower priced iMac Computer and according to BGR the new iMac is already available from the Apple education store. The new iMac for Educational Users comes with a 250GB Hard Drive, it has an AMD Radeon HD 6570 GPU with 256MB of RAM and 2GB of DDR3 RAM.

It seems to be only available to education customers as it has been conveniently priced at $999 to match their budget. It gets a 21.5-inch display and a 3.1GHz Intel Core i3 dual-core processor. According to BGR is it 11% higher than the last iMac aimed at the education market.
