Apple has revealed a brand new MacBook Air which the company is claiming to to be the lightest notebook ever and it is available in two different models, which includes a 11-inch and a 13-inch model. No Hard Drives here, the new MacBook Air features SSD Storage and has a battery life that offers up to 30 days of standby time and seven hours of operation. The Apple MacBook Air features a aluminum unibody construction with 0.68-inches at its thickest and only 0.11-inches at its thinnest point. Both the 11-inch and 13-inch Models comes with a 1366 x 768 resolution and 1440 x 900 resolution glossy LED-backlit display, respectively.
They are both powered by Intel Core 2 Duo processors, the 11-inch model gets either a 1.4GHz or 1.6GHz CPU while the 13-inch model gets a 1.86GHz or 2.13GHz CPU. They both get NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics card, up to 128-256GB SSD storage, WiFi 802.11n and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR connectivity, glass Multi-Touch trackpad, a full full-sized keyboard, built-in FaceTime camera, mic and stereo speakers, Mini DisplayPort, headphones, USB 2.0 Ports and the 13-inch model gets an SD card slot.
Both MacBook Air laptops are available now with suggested retail price – 1.4 GHz 11-inch MacBook Air with 2GB of memory and 64GB for $999 and 128GB model for $1,199, while the 1.86 GHz 13-inch MacBook Air with 2GB of memory and 128GB of flash storage starts at $1,299 and with a 256GB model for $1,599.
