Archos introduces its new and upcoming Android-powered Tablet Device called the Archos 101. The new device features a 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution, it is powered by a 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor, it has a 0.3-megapixel front camera, it is capable of 720p HD video playback, WiFi connectivity, Bluetooth, an HDMI port, an 8GB/16GB of internal memory, microSD card support and the device runs the new Android Froyo 2.2 OS.
The Archos 101 also comes with a adjustable leg stand that allows you to place the device in a good position to browse through emails, Watch a Music Video, Movie or to use the device as a Digital Photo Frame. It comes with pre-installed applications including Aldiko, Ebuddy, Wikipedia, Avecomics, HubKap, Deezer, Mewbox, Raging Thunderlite (a 3D car demo game), WordNewspaper, Touiteur and Fring.
According to Archos, its Archos 101 Tablet Device will be released mid-October and will go for a retail price of approximately $300.
