Archos introduces its new 80 Cobalt Android Tablet to its Elements series. The tablet comes equipped with a 8-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a 1024×768 pixel resolution and powered by a dual-core 1.6GHz processor with quad-core GPU and 1GB of RAM, and runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
The 80 Cobalt comes with a 2-megapixel main camera which has the ability to record videos and also do video calls with your friends from the 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The tablet also supports WiFi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity, it comes with 8GB of internal storage plus a microSDHC card slot that will support 32GB cards.
We must admit that the Archos 80 Cobalt doesn’t stand out from the majority of the tablets available on the market, the specifications aren’t very impressive so just wait to see if it will be below the $100 mark.
