In addition to the Archos 101 Tablet, Archos also unveiled the Archos 80 G9 Tablet that is very similar to the Archos 101 except for the fact that it features a bigger display. Like its bigger brother, the Archos 80 G9 runs the Android 3.1 Honeycomb, the same 250GB of internal storage and packs the power of a 1.5Ghz dual-core processor. The difference that sets them apart is the 8-inch touchscreen display with a 1024×768 resolution and a 4:3 ratio. Like the Archos 101, the Archos 80 G9 also seems to lack a camera but it has the ability to decode 1080p HD videos and output them to your HDTV using the built-in HDMI port.
Users will also get the option to get the G9 3G stick that enables the user to add 3G connectivity to the WiFi-onl y model. The Archos 80 G9 is expected to be launched by the end of September for the suggested market price of $279.
