Archos 9 Tablet gets Atom update and a SSD
Archos has decided to update its Archos 9 Tablet that was first unveiled back in late 2009. It was announced as the first Windows 7 tablet but since then the tablet industry have changed with more powerful devices and because of this Archos decided to upgraded the Archos 9 with a 1.2GHz Intel Atom Processor as well as 32GB of SSD storage. The manufacturer also left the other specs which includes the Windows 7 Starter OS, its integrated 1.3-Megapixel webcam, the same 9-inch touchscreen display with HD video playback up to 1080p and integrated stereo speakers. The upgraded version of the Archos 9 is presently available and is going for a £400 on the European Market.
