Archos 97 Carbon Android 4.0 ICS Tablet

Archos unveiled the new Archos 97 Carbon Tablet that runs the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS. The 97 Carbon was unveiled by Archos today, it is part of the company’s new Elements entry-level tablet line.

The 97 Carbon comes equipped with a 9.7-inch IPS touchscreen display with a 1024×768 pixel resolution plus five-finger multi-touch support. It is powered by a single-core 1GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and comes with 16GB of internal storage plus it supports microSD card up to 32GB.

The tablet comes with both front and rear-facing cameras and according to Archos it is capable of playing back full 1080p HD video. The tablet features a aluminum construction and measures only 11.4mm thick. It comes with the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS plus it also offers full access to the Google Play Store.

Archos plans to start selling the new 97 Carbon Android 4.0 ICS Tablet later this month and it will go for the price of $249.99 plus they also noted that they will be launching the 7 amd 8-inch tablet which is also a part of the Element line.
