Archos has finally launched its new G9 Android 3.2 Honeycomb powered tablet that was announced a while back, the new Archos G9 will be available in different models that features different specifications. First off, there is the Archos 80 G9 model that gets powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor with 8GB of internal storage for a price of $299. There is also a model that comes with 16GB of storage and powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core OMAP 4 processor for $329 and another model that comes with 250GB of internal storage for $369, but these version will not appear on shelves until October.
Other specifications of the Archos G9 tablets includes an 8-inch touchscreen display with a 1024×768 pixel resolution, they all come with a G-sensor, compass, built-in GPS, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR, microSD card slot, USB port, and HDMI output that supports 1080p HD video playback plus a 720p HD camera on the front of the device for web chat sessions with friends or business colleagues.
Archos has also announced its intentions to also release the Archos 101 G9 tablet in October that comes with a 10.1-inch touchscreen display with a 1280×800 pixel resolution, it will come with 250GB of hard drive storage or you can also get it with a 16GB SSD as well, it comes with all the other specifications of the 8-inch Archos G9 Tablet.
