Field Workers would have a hard time using a regular rugged notebook, since there are no desk for them to use, because of this they are always using tablet pc’s because input can be done using one hand and as a result so so-called rugged tablets get damaged in the process because they are not rugged as they are claimed to be.
For this purpose, Armor introduces its new tablet PC by the name of the Armor x10gx Tablet. It comes with a 10.4-inch transreflective LCD display with a 1024 x 768 pixel resolution ,can be read under direct sunlight and supports a pen or touch inputs. The tablet packs the power of an Intel Core 2 Duo 1.2GHz SU9300 Processor, it comes with a default a 64GB SSD and has the option for an 80GB SSD or a 160GB SSD as well.
The Tablet comes with 2GB of RAM and can be expanded to 4GB. It meets military MIL-STD-810G and IP67 specs for ruggedness and has other specs such as Bluetooth, WiFi, Gobi mobile broadband, a SD/SDHC card slot and runs the Windows 7 Ultimate OS.
