Art Lebedev releases a render of its Optimus Popularis Keyboard

It has been almost two years since the Optimus Popularis was first introduced by the Art Lebedev Studio and finally they have released the first render of what the keyboard will look like. The new rendered image showcase some addition specs such as an additional screen area between F-row and the rest of the keys.

It comes without a numeric keypad and also gets a special Fn key in the lower corner that transform the right hand side of the keyboard into the page-up and num-lock keys, as well as the numbers arranged in a familiar calculator layout. The Optimus Popularis Keyboard is expected to start shipping by the end of this year or early 2011 with a price lower than $1000.
