ASUS just announced three new laptops from its N-series, the N46, N56 and N76. All three models arrive with 14-inch, 15.6 and 17.3-inch screens and they all support a Full HD 1920×1080 resolution. The ASUS N-Series comes with an aluminum chassis that are resistant to scratches, they feature LED keyboards and touchpads which features a special soft-feel coating that creates a visual mat effect and a tactile surface that imitates touching velvet, leather or soft rubber.
The Asus N56 that comes equipped with the 15.6-inch display measures 379 x 261 x 35 mm and weighs 2.7 kilograms. All models are powered by Intel’s Sandy Bridge processors and are upgradeable to the new Ivy Bridge series. The models comes with the option to choose between 500GB, 750GB and 1000GB hard drives, up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, an NVIDIA GeForce GT 635M 2 GB graphics card and Blu-ray optical drives.
Other specifications expected includes WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity, USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports, an Ethernet adapter, built-in Webcam, D-sub and HDMI ports. The new ASUS N-series also comes with high quality audio system ASUS SonicMaster and the Super Hybrid Engine II technology that will reduce the time that the laptop takes to get out of sleep mode.
No pricing details has been announced for the three new N-series laptops from ASUS.
