Asus was also at the CES 2011 where they announced the new Asus Eee Slate EP121 Tablet that runs the Windows 7 OS. The Eee Slate was first showcased at the Computex 2010 as the Eee Pad EP121 and it also was on showcase at the CES 2011, so you may be wondering, when will it be released. We have good news, it is presently available on pre-order over at Amazon. It comes with two different versions, there is the 32GB version for $999 and a 64GB version that is going for $1099.

The Eee Slate EP121 will be powered by Intel Core i5-470UM Dual-Core processor, it comes with 2GB/4GB of RAM, 32GB or 64GB SSD, Integrated Graphics card and a 12.1-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a 1280×800 pixel resolution plus a digitizer stylus pen for precision input. It doesn’t end there, it also comes with Bluetooth 3.0 and WiFi 802.11n connectivity, there is a 2-Megapixel camera, two USB 2.0 ports and HDMI port.
