ASUS readies the launch of its new F201E 11-inch Laptop which will be available in three different versions. The new F201E series comes equipped with an 11-inch LCD display with 1366×768 resolution and powered by a 1.1GHz Intel Celeron 847 processor.
There’s a choice of a 320GB or 500GB Hard Drive, 2GB or 4GB of RAM, an a 3-in-1 card reader, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, one USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports. The series also comes with an integrated 0.3-megapixel webcam, it runs Windows 8 and gets a 5,200 mAh battery enabling up to 5 hours of operation.
There are three versions in the series, the cheapest version runs Ubuntu with 4GB of RAM and 500GB of Hard Drive storage for €299, the second model features the same specifications but runs Windows 8 for €359, the last of the trio comes with a 320GB hard drive and 2GB of RAM. These new laptops should be available after October 26th, once Windows 8 is released.
