ASUS has announced its new Tablet which runs on the Windows 8 operating system, the tablet goes by the model name ASUS VivoTab. The tablet comes with a HD touchscreen display that measures 11.6-inches with a 1366 x 768 HD resolution, bundled with a Wacom digitizer stylus and a thin and lightweight frame.
ASUS VivoTab has a 1.8GHz Intel Atom Z2760 dual-core processor with enhanced performance and incredible energy efficiency allowing Windows 8 to run both, the latest software and legacy applications, giving users a wide choice of software for every need.
The tablet features Super IPS+ technology which delivers wide viewing angles and superior outdoor visibility. ASUS TruVivid technology enhances image clarity still further by reducing the display thickness, while scratch-resistant Corning Fit glass with anti-fingerprint coating keeps the screen crystal-clear.
The new thin and light VivoTab 11.6-inch Windows 8 Tablet comes with other specifications including, an 8-megapixel camera on the back with auto focus, large f/2.2 aperture and a front-facing camera for video calling, a large multi-touch touchpad, two USB 2.0 ports, scratch-resistant Corning Fit glass with anti-fingerprint coating, and 10.5-hour battery life by up to nine hours, for an unbelievable 19 hours’ mobile use.
