Asus has unveiled in the US its new Zenbook Prime UX31A Ultrabooks which are powered by Intel’s 3rd generation Core Ivy Bridge processor series. Like most Ultrabooks available on the market, the Zenbook Prime UX31A also features a super slim body, measuring only 3mm at its thinnest point and it also comes with a precision-crafted aluminum chassis.
The Zenbook comes equipped with a 13.3-inch IPS touchscreen display with a Full HD 1920x1080p resolution, it features built-in speakers and microphone which are all enhanced with Bang & Olufsen ICEpower technology. These Ultrabooks also sports an HD webcam, it has an SD card reader, a backlit keyboard, two USB 3.0 ports, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity.
The device also comes with other connectivity options including a micro HDMI, VGA output and Intel’s Wireless Display support. The Asus Zenbook Prime UX31A will be available in four different models, there’s the UX31A-DB51 and UX31A-DB52 both are powered by Intel Core i5-3317 processor, and the UX31A-AB71 and UX31A-AB72 is more powerful with a Core i7-3517 CPU. All of them come with integrated HD 4000 graphics.
The Zenbook Prime UX31A-DB72 gets a 256GB SSD while the other three models gets a 128GB SSD. The Zenbook Prime UX31A is currently available and can be even found on Amazon, the ultrabooks starts at $1149.99.
