AT&T has announced that the HTC One X will be available in their retail stores starting on May 6th but for customers who are too anxious to wait they can start pre-ordering the One X on April 22nd. The handset will be sold for the price of $199.99 with a 2 year contract.
AT&T’s version of the HTC One X comes with a few differences when compared against with the original/international version, it is powered by a a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm S4 processor compared to a 1.5Ghz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor found in the original version, it supports AT&T’s super speedy LTE high speed network and the One X is also AT&T’s first smartphone to come running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS with HTC’s new Sense 4.0 and Beats Audio integration.
The device still retains it’s 8-megapixel HD camera on the rear and the same 4.7-inch 720p HD touchscreen display with Corning Gorilla Glass as its original. Users who plans to pre-order the One X for AT&T can do so on April 22nd by going to www.att.com/onex.
