Sprint has made the announcement that they will start offering the LG Optimus G on November 11 but AT&T will be getting the same device a few days early. The US-Based GSM carrier announced that they will be offering the Optimus G for the same price as Sprint, it will also be sold with a two-year contract but it will come a few days early.
AT&T just announced the official release date and pricing details for the LG Optimus G Smartphone, the first phone with a quad-core processor released in the United States. Even though shipping does starts until the second day in November, the carrier is already taking pre-orders on their website.
The handset comes equipped with a 4.7-inch IPS+ touchscreen display, there’s a 13-megapixel main camera and powered by a quad-core 1.5GHz processor. AT&T will launch the Optimus G Smartphone with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS right out the box, but the company did not specify if the handset will ever get the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Update.
