AT&T is about to unveiled a new Smartphone from Pantech called the Pantech Crossover. It is the first Android Smartphone on the US Market for the company and will debut on June 5 for the price of $69.99 with a new two-year contract. It features a portrait slide-out keyboard which makes it ideal for text message enthusiasts, a 3.1-inch touchscreen display, a 3 Megapixel camera with camcorder and is powered by a 600MHz processor with Android 2.0 Froyo running in the background. It also packs a few buzz-worthy specs including WiFi 802.11 b/g/n with a mobile hotspot feature that enables the sharing of a 3G connection to up to five WiFi-enabled devices. It supports both quad-band GSM and tri-band UMTS/HSPA networks plus it comes with a battery that delivers up to five hours of talk time and 360 hours of standby time. It comes with a 2GB microSD card pre-installed and also has the capacity to support cards up to 32GB.
