AT&T recently unveiled another budget-friendly messaging phone, the Pantech Swift. This new messaging smartphone comes equipped with a 2.8-inch capacitive touchscreen display which can be set to certain angles to reduce glare, so the user can always see the screen clearly.
As a normal messaging phone would, the Pantech Swift has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, it supports Dual-Band HSDPA 3.6Mbps 3G and quad-band GSM/EDGE networks. It also runs Qualcomm’s BrewMP mobile operating system and can be personalized with three customizable home screens.
There’s a 2-megapixel camera on the rear of the device and it has a microSD card slot for memory expansion. It comes pre-loaded with a wide range of one-touch social media apps including Facebook and Twitter. There are also pre-loaded games as well as AT&T’s Navigator and YP Mobile.
AT&T will be selling the Pantech Swift in the colors of purple and black and will go for the price of $69.99 with a 2-year contract after $59 mail-in rebate.
