AT&T has added another rugged clamshell to their line of mobile device, the Samsung Rugby III. The Samsung Rugby III, the fifth-generation phone in the Rugby series. The handset is aimed at users who wants a durable device that won’t get damage from simple drops.
The ruggedized clamshell inspired phone comes with a 2.4-inch QVGA display and a 3-megapixel camera. It meets military 810G specifications and it is waterproof, dust proof, and shock resistant. It also supports a variety of mobile resource management applications from AT&T and offers one-touch access to GPS Navigation through AT&T Navigator.
The Rugby III is also compatible with AT&T’s Enhanced Push to Talk (PTT) service, the carrier will start pre-ordering the device on November 30, and will be available from their retail stores on the 14th of December for $99.99 with a two-year contract.
