Barnes & Noble just announced the launch of its next tablet innovation, the NOOK HD+ Tablet that comes with a Full HD 9-inch touchscreen display that offers a 1920×1080 resolution with 256ppi pixel density for users who wants to enjoy their favorite books as well as a good movie in high-definition.
The screen is fully laminated to reduce glare and provides an excellent viewing angle. The popular bookseller boast that the NOOK HD+ is the lightest 9-inch tablet to enter the market, weighing at only 515g.
It is also more powerful when compared to previous versions of NOOK Tablets, powered by a 1.5Ghz OMAP4470 dual-core processor and 1GB RAM for a smooth and fast experience, no matter browsing the web, reading books and magazines, watching videos, enjoying apps or checking email.
The NOOK HD+ supports WiFi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity which give access to downloading content wirelessly and it also comes with an HDMI port for share content on a larger screen. The new NOOK HD+ comes in two different models, a 16GB and 32GB version, the 16GB version goes for $269 while the 32GB goes for $299.
