BenQ has announced its new super zoom digital camera, the GH700 that comes with 21x optical zoom. The BenQ GH700 is equipped with a 16-Megapixel back-illuminated BSI CMOS image sensor for low-light performance, the camera also has Handheld Night Shot Mode to deliver ultra sharp pictures, even if you are shooting in dim environments or on a poorly lit object.
The GH700 also comes with a high-speed, high efficiency digital signal processor (DSP) that enhances the processing speed by up to 30%. It also offers continuous shooting mode with High-Speed Burst shooting up to 10 16-Megapixel quality photos, 1cm Super Macro mode, an ISO sensitivity of 6400, an HDR III Image Enhancement Technology that utilizes the exposure bracketing technique to take three separate photos with different exposures and combine them into one image that offers more brightness and contrast. Other specifications of the BenQ GH700 includes Full HD 1080 videos at 60fps, it also has the ability to capture still images during recording. It comes equipped with a 3-inch display, it supports SD/SDHC cards up to 32GB and has an on-screen video editing function. No pricing information was announced for the new GH700 but the company also announced the GH600 which is expected to be released in December with the GH700 and both will be available in the colors of black and white.
