BenQ recently unveiled its GL Series LED-backlit LCD displays with a ultra high dynamic contrast ratio of 12,000,000:1. Models in the series includes the 18.5-inch GL930, 19-inch GL931, 20-inch GL2030, 21.5-inch GL2230 and the 22-inch GL2231.
The GL2030 will be the first model to be released boasting a 1600×900 resolution, and other specs which includes a 250cd/m2 brightness, 170/160-degree viewing angle and 5ms response time. The GL2030 utilizes the Senseye 3 Human Vision technology which delivers an enhanced image quality. All models in the GL Series comes with different connectors; GL models with D-Sub; DVI-D (eg. GL2030); GL/A with D-Sub (eg.GL2030A) ; GL/M with D-Sub; DVI-D; Line-In; Headphone Jack (eg. GL2030M) ; and GL/AM with D-Sub; Line-In; Headphone Jack (eg. GL203AM). Furthermore, the GL/M and GL/AM models come equipped with (1 watt x 2) built-in speakers.
