BenQ recently announced its new MP780 ST Short-Throw DLP Projector in Europe. The BenQ MP780 ST is a short-throw WXGA DLP projector that was designed to be used in education. The MP780 uses BenQ’s PointDraw system with interactive pen that eliminate the need of interactive whiteboards and allowing users to point, draw, and create on any projected surface.
The device uses DLP technology by Texas Instruments and offers a 1280×800 WXGA Resolution, there is also a 2500 ANSI lumens of brightness, contrast ratio of 3000:1, has HDMI v1.3, Composite, S-Video, D-Sub, USB, microphone, L/R audio, stereo mini jack, RJ45, and RS232 ports. The BenQ MP780 can also project image size ranging from 48-inch to a 300-inch diagonal and short 0.5:1 throw ratio and supports 3D technology plus an integrated USB reader.
