BenQ RL2240H World’s First RTS Gaming Monitor

BenQ RL2240H RTS MonitorBenQ introduced its new RL2240H Gaming Monitor which is claimed by the company to be the world’s first (Real-Time Strategy) gaming monitor. The monitor is a result from a partnership between BenQ, ZOWIE GEAR, professional manufacturer of competitive gaming gears, and STARTALE, StarCraft 2 professional gaming team.

Specifications of the BenQ RL2240H includes a 21-inch full HD display with a 1920×1080 pixel resolution, it features LED-backlit, a 250cd/m2 brightness, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, a 12,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 170/160-degree viewing angle and a 2ms GTG response time. The monitor comes with a RTS gaming mode that automatically adjusts your monitor calibrations accordingly for optimum RTS gaming, and Black eQualizer color engine technology that will brighten dark scenes without over-exposing white levels, thus allowing gamers to acquire critical combat details and information. The BenQ RL2240H will be available soon and comes with a sleek white finish, No pricing information announced.
