Blackberry Dakota with Touchscreen Spotted

RIM’s 2011 Handset line-up has been leaked which reveals a few Blackberry Smartphones in the line-up for release this year. One of them is the Blackberry Dakota that comes with a touchscreen display with a full QWERTY Keyboard, the Dakota gets a 2.8-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a 640 x 480 pixel resolution, it runs the Blackberry 6.1 OS and supports quad-band GSM, tri-band UMTS networks. Other specifications expected to comes with the Dakota includes a 5-Megapixel camera with LED-flash, 768MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, NFC (near field communication) which is a first for blackberry, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity with 3G mobile hotspot capability.   1. Honestly don’t really care about this phone at all. I am just still hoping for the blackberry bold 9780 will hit at&t stores soon. Not that I don’t like the Dakota or anything, but it’s not really much of that of an “update”, and not only that the bold is better looking and more attractive I’d say. I am still waiting for the bold, and I am eligible for an upgrade.

  2. wtf are you talking about…..there is NO FRONT FACING camera on the dakota. Buddy this news is been out for a long time now……you’re pretty late to the party. Better just give the url to the crackberry any other website who were in the party.
