Boeing has a concept for a smartphone that would make anyone with it appears to be a secret agent. Boeing’s concept mysterious smartphone was leaked back in 2012, however it took the company more than two years to officially announced the device.
The company is calling it the “Black Phone” which is aimed at security, defense and government agents. Even those they made the announcement, most of the specifications of the device are still being kept a secret. The “Black Phone” has a slew of security features to keep the data safe and out of the wrong hands. The phone will even self-destruct if unauthorized persons attempts to gain access to information on the device.
The self-destructing features seems to be the coolest and the only feature that would make me want to purchase the device. Other specifications includes a 4.3-inch display with a 540 x 960 resolution, powered by a dual 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor, it runs a version of Google’s Android and features a bulky 2010 design.
Many details on this one trick pony still remains a mystery, Boeing hasn’t revealed any pricing details or availability dates as yet but they did mention that it will be available soon.
