Buffalo announced a new line of Encrypted Flash Drives
Buffalo Technologies has announced that they will be releasing a new line of advanced encrypted Flash Drives that comes pre-loaded with Trend Micro antivirus software that will scan all data transfers and there is also AES 256bit hardware encryption which should keep data secured. The new line up will included three new units, they will all feature a slide-out USB 2.0/1.1 connector. There is the RUF2-HSCLT which offers only encryption, the RUF2-HSCLTV which offers encryption and 1 year subscription for antivirus updates and the RUF2-HSCLTV3 which offers encryption plus three years of antivirus subscription. The Buffalo RUF2-HSCLT, RUF2-HSCLTV and RUF2-HSCLTV3 is expected to be released later this month in the storage capacities of 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB.
