Canon announces the new EOS 600D / Rebel T3i / Kiss X5 entry-level digital SLR camera which is considered the successor of the Rebel T2i 550D DSLR Camera. It is an entry-level DSLR which was designed specially for photographers just entering the industry. It comes with a 18-Megapixel APS-C CMOS image sensor, there is the DIGIC 4 image processor, the ability to record Full HD 1080p videos at up to 30fps and 3.7 fps continuous shooting up to approximately 34 JPEGs or approximately 6 RAW.
Other standard features are available including the Feature Guide instruction that will give a walk-through of the features to a new user, it also recommended setting to new users, there is a Scene Intelligent Auto mode for point-and-shoot users, ISO up to 6400, LiveView mode, enhanced metering with a 63-zone, Dual-layer metering system and a 9-point AF system. The EOS 600D also comes with 3-inch Clear View LCD display with anti-reflective and smudge-resistant.
The new EOS 600D / Rebel T3i is compatible with Canon EF and EF-S lenses and supports SD/SDHC and SDXC memory cards for storage. It will be sold in a body-only configuration at $799.99 on Amazon, it will also be available in a Kit version with Canon’s new EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II zoom lens for $899 and also with the Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS zoom lens at $1099.00.
