Canon just unveiled its new budget-friendly digital camera dubbed the PowerShot A2500, joining the PowerShot A2600 and A1400 which were unveiled at the CES 2013. The PowerShot A2500 comes with similar specifications to its brother A2600, but it gets a smaller display.
The A2500 comes equipped with a 16-megapixel CCD sensor, it is also equipped with a DIGIC 4 image processor and a 28mm wide angle 5x optical zoom lens. It delivers blur-free images, thanks to its Optical Image Stabilizer and Digital IS to compensate for camera shake, it supports the recording of 720p HD videos and gets a dedicated button for the function.
The A2500 comes with a 2.5-inch LCD display for previewing recorded videos, which is slightly smaller that the 3-inch display on the A2600. Canon will release the PowerShot A2500 in April in silver, red and black for $129.99.
