Canon has introduced two new digital cameras, the PowerShot A3100 IS and A3000 IS Digital Cameras. These are entry-level cameras which features and almost identical except for their sensor.
The PowerShot A3100 IS comes with a 12.1 Megapixel sensor while the latter has 10 Megapixel resolution. They all boast a 4x optical zoom lens with optical image stabilization, Face Detection, Smart Auto mode, ISO up to 3200. Smart FE (Flash Exposure), Low-Light shooting mode, a well as Super Vivid and Poster Effect modes. The PowerShot A3100 IS and A3000 IS have a 2.7-inch LCD display and supports SD/SDHC, SDXC, MMC/MMC Plus and can record 640×480 video at 30fps and include the ability to upload video to YouTube.
The A3100 IS comes in vibrant red, blue and silver colors and costs $179.99 while the PowerShot A3000 IS is offered in a stunning, two-toned black and silver casing and is priced at $149.99. More photos after the break..
