Canon is one of the companies at Photokina 2012, where they introduced the new PowerShot S110 compact digital camera that replaces the successful PowerShot S100.
The new PowerShot S110 comes equipped with a 12.1 Megapixel high-sensitivity CMOS image sensor, it has a 24mm wide-angle 5x optical zoom lens, a touchscreen display and built-in WiFi connectivity.
The PowerShot S110 comes with built-in WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity that allows you to wirelessly upload images to social network via Canon iMAGE GATEWAY, to iOS or Android smartphones or tablets with the free Canon CameraWindow app. It packs DIGIC 5 image engine and Canon HS SYSTEM for enhanced image quality in low-light conditions.
It is capable of 1080p Full HD video recording with stereo sound, a dedicated movie button and support for optical zoom during shooting.
There’s an HDMI output port allowing you to share images and other recorded content on a larger screen than the one integrated on the device. Canon will release the PowerShot S110 in black and white colors in October for $449.99.
