For the first time we will be seeing a G-Shock Watch with Bluetooth LE Connectivity (LE=low-energy, a standard that’s baked into Bluetooth 4.0) which is said to consume way less power that other Bluetooth variations, with its Bluetooth connectivity, the G-Shock GB-6900 series will be available to communicate with your smartphone and alert you when there’s an incoming call, email, text message and will even control some of your smartphone’s basic functions such as its alarm and ringer.
