Cellular South has announced its plans to launch the Blackberry Playbook on April 19th. The carrier will be offering the 16GB model of the Playbook with WiFi for a price of $499. The version available doesn’t support 3G connectivity but there is support for Adobe Flash and Enterprise use. It is powered by a dual-core 1GHz Processor, 1GB of RAM and a version of the Blackberry OS. It features a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen with a 1024×600 pixel resolution, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, a 5-megapixel camera on the rear, a 3-megapixel camera on the front and they both support 1080p Full HD video recording plus built-in speakers and microphone.
