CMIT’s TransPhone Smartphone also pairs with a Tablet

CMIT's TransPhone Smartphone
[Computex 2011] The Asus Padfone maybe getting some competition even before it is even launched to the market. CMIT today unveiled its TransPhone at the tradeshow and like the Asus Padfone, the CMIT TransPhone also pairs with a tablet dock. The docking port for the TransPhone is different from the Padfone as the ASUS device is completely hidden by a flip-up rear door while CMIT’s device uses a slide-in port. The TransPhone is expected to bring a 1.2GHz Dual-Core Qualcomm Processor, a SVGA Display no word on the size not the OS that the device will be running. Not much information available on this device but hopefully more information will surface.

  1. I think Asus has got beyond the smarphone era and their Pasfone just seems to have proven it to the world! With the phone providing all the computing power and the 3G connectivity with an additional feature like enlarging the small smartphone screen to 10.1 inch! That sounds incredible.
