Corsair has also released info on its new Solid State Drives, the newest series is titled the Force Series 3 that comes in a 2.5-inch form factor and in the storage options of 60GB, 120GB and 240GB. All models are based on MLC NAND Flash memory, SandForce’s SF-2281 controller and utilizes a SATA 6.0 Gbps interface. The Force Series 3 drives also comes with a 2.5-inch to 3.5-inch adapter like that of the A-Data S511, there is a maximum 550MB/s read and 520 MB/s write speed plus it is able to 85,000 IOPS during 4k random writing. The 60GB, 120GB and 240GB F3 drives will become available later this month priced at $139, $219 and $499, respectively.
