General Motors subsidiary Chevrolet preps to launch a new and limited edition of the Stingray Corvette convertible early in 2014. The special edition of the Corvette Stingray will be called the Stingray Premiere Edition Convertible.
The new convertible will only be available in the same green color which is known as Lime Rock, plus it also comes with the same options and interior, the only choice the buyer has is what type of transmission the baby will come with.
Chevrolet will only be making 550 units of the premiere series, the limited edition convertible will feature a 7-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic, it will be powered by the same 460hp 6.2L V8 engine with 465 lb-ft of torque, it will have a brown suede interior, a performance exhaust, electronic limited slip differential, and adjustable magnetic ride suspension.
The Premiere edition convertible goes for $77,450 which includes the destination charge. The launch date of the Corvette Stingray Premiere Edition Convertible is currently unknown, Chevy only hinted that it will be “early 2014”.
