Cricket intros LG Optimus Regards 4G LTE Smartphone

Cricket has announced the arrival of the LG Optimus Regards 4G LTE Smartphone on their network. The new Optimus Regards (LG W770) will be the company’s first 4G LTE smartphone which supports Cricket’s CDMA EVDO 3G and LTE 4G networks for high-speed data connection.

It gets a 3.5-inch HVGA touchscreen display with a 480×320 pixel resolution which is protected by Gorilla Glass. There’s a 5-megapixel main camera capable of recording full HD videos and has LED flash plus a front-facing camera for video calling.

The LG Optimus Regards comes with 8GB of onboard storage capacity plus there’s a microSDHC card slot for expansion if more storage is required. It also includes Dolby Mobile to enhanced audio output, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity with WiFi Mobile Hotspot functionality, Bluetooth and DLNA for wireless media streaming.

Cricket has announced that they will be selling the LG Optimus Regards 4G LTE Smartphone at $249.99 without contract and users can use it with Cricket’s non-contract smartphone plan starting at $50/month.
