Cricket has a budget-friend smartphone coming to their customers for a price of $129.99 and there is no contract needed. The new Touchscreen Phone comes from the Kyocera and is called the RIO. It features a 2.8-inch QVGA Touchscreen display, it has a 1.3-Megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth, Integrated music player, 3.5mm headset jack and a microSD card slot for expansion on storage.

The Cricket Kyocera RIO also offers new MyHomeScreen with 3 customizable homescreens, quick one-touch access icons for messaging, dialer, and scrollable menu and contacts. We are not sure which OS is running under the hood but it weighs a mere 3oz.

RIO provides users with up to 330 minutes of talk and text time before the battery needs recharging, supports up to 16GB microSD memory cards for all the users’ favorite music and videos, and complements the unlimited talk, text and picture messaging capabilities offered to all Cricket customers.
